Jodi grew up in Grande Prairie, Alberta and went to school at the Grande Prairie Regional College and the University of Alberta, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Jodi has experience working with youth and families and she worked with at-risk youth in a strength-based learning centre. She helped struggling youth work through mental health concerns. In addition, Jodi volunteered at the Peace Area Riding for the Disabled Society where she helped lead a Youth Leadership program which involved therapeutic horses. Youth in this program are taught to become more confident, conscientious, and learn skills such as communication, team work,
coping strategies, leadership skills, and come out with a strong sense of identity and well-being.
She joined us as a counsellor at Trobak Holistic Counselling in September of 2017.
